National Dog Day – August 26th!by Coach Lilly 1.27.15
DoggieNation is ready to celebrate National Dog Day! This great holiday has two reasons to celebrate:
- To honor dogs and all they do to enrich our lives
- To rescue dogs from abuse and homelessness
We all should take this opportunity to appreciate and recognize the value of dogs in our lives. Dogs are our companions and family members. They are always waiting for us when we return home from work, wagging their tails and waiting to say hello. They provide unconditional love, make us laugh, watch for our safety and offer so much more. At DoggieNation we are fortuate to bring our dogs to work (sorry if you call and hear ocassional barking!). We enjoy our work even more having our pups with us.
The second goal of National Dog Day is to rescue dogs in need. Dogs count on us to save them from homelesness and abuse. The goal of the National Dog Day foundation is to rescue 10,000 dogs a year. Lend a hand to help a dog in need today, or any day.
We hope you celebrate with your dog tonight or rescue a dog who needs saving. They will love you for their entire life!
