NFL Playoffs

by Coach Lilly

After the dust settled on Sunday night, we said good-bye to the Bengals, Vikings, Colts, and the Redskins. That brings us down to 8 remaining teams, all who think they have a realistic shot at bringing home the Lombardi Trophy.

Here’s a look at some of the more interesting story-lines regarding the four match-ups this upcoming weekend:

Ravens – Broncos: Can Peyton Manning lead the Broncos into a deep playoff run, and ultimately back to the Super Bowl – a place the Broncos have not been since another Hall of Fame quarterback was under center (John Elway!). And will this be Ray Lewis’ last NFL game ever? (He’s retiring at the end of this season).

Packers – 49ers: It’s the match-up of the unstoppable Green Bay offense vs the league’s best defense in San Francisco. Something’s gotta give.

Seahawks – Falcons: Battle of the birds! We’re going to see one of these fresh faces in the NFC Championship game next week.

Texans – Patriots: How do the Texans bounce back in this game after being embarrassed 42-14 by the Patriots just a month ago on Monday Night Football?

It’s going to be an entertaining four games of football this weekend, leading way to the Big Game in February! Enjoy.
